Annual Summer Mixer

In July 2018, we hosted our 3rd Annual Summer Mixer at the Weeksville Heritage Center in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Our summer mixer is our signature event where our community networks, eats, drinks, and dances to the tunes of DJ Jon Blak. Photos taken by Edna Holifield.

Annual Screenwriting Retreat

Every June we travel a few hours outside of New York City for an extended weekend to focus on screenwriting. We also incorporate workshops, casual dinners, yoga, and group walks into our excursion. Our objective is to create a peaceful space in order to write and build genuine connections.

In 2019 the month of March birthed a new screening segment - Cinema for Her.
