HOW IT WORKS

Black Film Space is excited to launch the 7th installment of our Screenwriting Accountability Group!

With this program we emphasize deep work by creating an environment where you can dive into your screenplay with minimal distractions, alongside like-minded individuals.

Screenwriters commit to writing every day on their own separate scripts in a group setting Monday through Friday from Sep 30th to Nov 22nd. Writers meet on Zoom in their self-selected group of 8 or more people.

Writers are encouraged to complete a project in that time (i.e. final draft of a short, a pilot, first draft of a feature, etc...) Writers must be on time and on camera to be counted as present.

Our objective is to create a structured space for writers to focus and improve their craft. We understand this structure is not for everyone, please be mindful of your availability to commit.

All experience levels are welcome. Fill out the application at the bottom of the page to join!

If you are already a Member, sign in to find the application on the community sidebar.
