Since our founding in 2015, Black Film Space (BFS) has been dedicated to supporting Black filmmakers by providing essential resources, networking opportunities, and skill-building programs. Our mission is to build a thriving community of filmmakers of African descent by creating pathways to success in the film industry. Over the last eight years, we have cultivated a safe, creative, and empowering environment for thousands of Black filmmakers.
